How do i find or create a root directory on a sd card? - turbo dogs sat nav system

I have a dog Turbo v5.0 portable navigation device with an SD card. the software so that the disk supplied with the camera to format my card and replace the files on the hard disk to the root of the card? I have good and SAT NAV works fine, but I do not think that the entries in the root directory and other things working properly. It has buttons for music, videos, electronic books, etc., which does not seem to work. Can anyone help?
